Dr. Parker has practiced family medicine for nearly 20 years. He is also a registered pharmacist.

He received his undergraduate degree in pharmacy in 1979 and his medical degree in 1983, both from the University of Arizona. After graduating, he completed a three-year residency in family practice. Dr. Parker spent seven years as the assistant director of a hospital family practice residency program and has also cared for patients in urgent care and trauma facilities. He speaks Spanish fluently.

Dr. Parker is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice. His professional memberships also include the American Academy of Family Practice, the Arizona Medical Association, the Arizona Pharmacy Association and the Arizona Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Parker is on staff at several Valley hospitals, including John C. Lincoln Deer Valley Hospital.
